Hi,

I started working on version 3.0 of Adult Script Pro. I cannot give you a exact date when it will be finished, but i expect April/May!
Features i want to add:

***DONE*** - always use php >= 5.5 with mysqli and use prepared statements (say good bye to sql injections)
***DONE*** - always use csrf protection for all uploads/forms
- improve mysql database design (migrate some tables from myisam to innodb)
- improve caching (using models, everything can be cached now + you can define the cache lifetime in admin for each dataset)
[MOVED TO 3.2] - add a country field for ads and display ads based on the country (dont know if google likes this, but we'll test)
***DONE*** - more stats for advertising (today impressions/clicks, week impressions/clicks, month impressions/clicks)
***DONE*** - option in admin to set video url, channel url, album url (for example: domain.com/id/slug/, domain.com/video/id/slug/', domain.com/id/slug.html, domain.com/video/id.html, domain.com/video/id/slug.html => more unique sites)
- more seo improvements
[MOVED TO 3.2] - game module
***DONE 98%***- new improved admin panel (based on boostrap)
[MOVED TO 3.2] - multi site admin
***DONE*** - more community options (activity feed)
***DONE*** - redesign forum module
[MOVED TO 3.2] - separate user accounts for content partners (can manage their networks, channels and advertising, also bulk upload)
[MOVED TO 3.2] - separate user accounts for content editors (can mass edit videos assigned to them for edit)
***DONE*** - add support for enabling nofollow on menu links
***DONE*** - add thumbnails progress for videojs (also hotkeys)
***DONE*** - add support for mp4/webm thumbnail slideshow on mouse over
***DONE*** - add adaptive bitrate for videos (via HLS)
***DONE*** - option to remove black bars from thumbs + crop X percent
***DONE*** - random views/ratings for videos when importing/uploading
***DONE*** - import/export models via CSV/xml
- import/export channels via CSV
- import/export photos via CSV
***DONE*** - import/export video categories via CSV
***DONE*** - import/export videos via CSV
***DONE*** - add support for more video formats (the user will select from admin which formats he wants, 240p, 360p, 480p, 640p, 720p and 1080p, this will be very good for premium sites)
***DONE*** - optimize thumbs by default (using a jpeg tool)
***DONE*** - pornstar module will be changed to model (model can be used with adult and non-adult)
***DONE*** - configurable user groups (add, edit, delete, suspend, activate items previlegies in admin)
***DONE*** - support for both ipv4 and ipv6 (google says ipv6 usage has already reached 10% deployment)
- audit log support (log logins, logouts, permission fails, payments, errors and so on)
***DONE*** - have multi server by default with conversion and storage servers
***DONE*** - separate url for languages (eg: domain.com/de/, domain.com/fr/videos/recent/...)
[MOVED TO 3.2] - translate content (title, categories, tags, description) manual or automatic (via bing/yandex for free, or paid google translate)
***DONE*** - several coding improvements (all sql is in models => easier to maintain/edit)
***DONE*** - chat like xhamster/pornhub with private messages

There are several changes added. 3.x will be a lot different compared to adult script pro 2.x, faster, easier to admin, ability to translate everything (including content) to languages (via automatic bing/yandex/google translate also).

The blog module would be great. What would the game module entail? The ability to have flash/swf games or..?

improve the community/profile module... make it a facebook like
profile pic
cover photos
post status and comments on the status
community news feed

if you think this module is a lot of work.. I don't mind buying it if you make it a premium

and also don't forget to fix and improve the forum module

Advertisement weights, limits to display x number of times per visitor
Admin email options for video, photo, link, member, etc. approval (or admin panel notifications)
Admin panel analytics (Google has an API, I haven't explored how much work it would be to integrate yet... one of my future custom mod projects I was already planning)

Edit: Also wanted to suggest a global announcement feature to easily add a quick blurb at the top of all pages from admin panel

ASP has it all. to have something WOW in the new version it would be good to have the ability to make a small video clip and show it on image mouse over. Like pornhd.com does. And more templates will be a good idea.

You could probably mod the current template and use the trailer conversion option to play that on a hover. Better have LOTS of disk space!

Auto assign models can be added. I'm trying to focus on the videojs player, its free, its updated more often and it can be customized via css. I will add domain.com/fr/ and so on, having subdomains is more complicated for a beginner (the setup is very complicated and most clients wont be able to install the script).

Hmm...i could add that small videoclip part, as on/off. If the browser supports html5 its simple to inject a video tag in the code via js.

hi, if you actually go forward with the domain.com/fr/.. /es/ etc. - please make it optional :-D
there maybe many script translations available for the site structure, but the actual content description/tags/title will be in one language only anyway. So actually I don't see much of a point in language subdirectories.

How about a way to take a video that is large like lets say 1 hour, and break it into 4 14 minute videos and label them part 1 , 2, 3, 4.

Language subdirectories will be on/off from admin (like multi language is now).

@xpornclub: as a plugin its possible, but in the main distribution not really needed, most clients/visitors want long videos...

How often do you use the activate/suspend button in the admin panel (video manage). Could i removed that in 3.x and only have the left side dropdown menu?

I don't use the actual icon button at all- I only use the checkboxes and dropdown.
