You can just take the category descriptions from my site (http://www.skankhunter.com) and add/remove 1-2 words. I think its important. When i launched my site i searched for ways to improve SEO, and after i added the descriptions i got like 5-10 hits for every category page (search terms are: free amateur porn, free amateur videos and so on). You wont be on the first google search results page, but still will get you some hits.

You can just put 2 ads in the video-view-right group. In the advertising textarea just add 2 banners (separate them with <br />)

Well it should be faster. I removed some overhead from anything that has to show videos/albums (for add_date and for slug). Anyway, you are right, the multi-language would slow things down (a lot of functions), but it works good enough.

@coscast,mfeat50: it can be done. Each pornstar has its own advertising banner, you can add a banner for pornstars and then assign it to the pornstar page. On the other hand, i think a good idea is to have a link directly in the BIO part of the page. I will add this.
@coscast: The HTML is done because it was something on your website only, and with the upgrade you overwrote that file. You need to remove the escape from the template. Already sent you a email about this.

I think he had a older version of BETA2 where the expire column was not present. Its fixed now.

Hmmm...you should do the following for SEO:
1. Create a sitemap file (can be done from Admin -> Tools -> Sitemap) and upload it to all search engines.
2. Set google/yahoo/msn webmasters code in Admin -> Tools -> Search Engines
3. Set descriptions for videos and video categories (video categories is more important).

Fixed. Edit templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/video_edit.tpl.php, on line 16 you have:

Hi,
Now that Adult Script Pro BETA3 has been released we will try to follow the below development shedule/plan:
BETA4:
* support for epoch/zombaio
* support for iphone/android
* more frontend templates
RC1:
* support for mass video uploads via FTP
* support for mass photo uploads via FTP
* support for mass photo uploads via archives (zip, tar, gz, rar...)
* support for video flash player overlay html/javascript advertising (probably per video and per video category support also)
* support for mass video updates (also automatic) via RSS feeds from adult affiliate sites
Final Stable 1.0:
* optimizations (database and code optimizations)
* bug fixes (we want a stable release so no bugs allowed :-))
* scalability (we will stress the script with apache/mysql tools and see how much traffic it can handle)
* security tests and hardening
Once everything from above is done we will continue with development adding: DVDs support, Video Series support, Games support, Sites support and probably any feature more than 3 clients want.
We cant give a exact date, but we will try to work as fast as possible (probably 2/3 weeks delay beween each of the above releases).

Until now avangate was good for us. I dont know what to say about the affiliate thing (we get like 1 affiliate / day). I'm going to ask David to speak with them and ask what the requirements are to become a affiliate and will let you know (via email).

BTW...if you want more visitors enter description for video categories and videos and in 2-3 weeks you will get a lot of hits. Its what i did for my site (like almost 1 year ago) and in 1 month i had 10.000 uniques (droped now, but i didnt update the site for like 9 months). Sorry for hijacking this topic...
